Ingredients:
2 cupCorn Bread Mix (INDEX)
1 cupWhole wheat flour
1/3 cupSugar
1 tspBaking powder
1 1/4 cupWater
1/3 cupDark molasses
1 Egg
Orange Butter (INDEX)
Procedures:
1Heat oven to 350.
2Grease bottom of loafpan, 9x5x3 inches.
3Stir all ingredients except orange butter until mix and flour are moistened; pour into pan.
4Bake until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean, 50 minutes to 1 hour.
5Remove from pan; cool slightly on wire rack.
6Serve warm with orange butter (index).
