Ingredients:

| | Onion, minced | | 2
| | Garlic cloves, minced | | 2
| cup | Chopped turnips or potatoes | | 2
| cup | Chopped carrots | | 1
| cup | Finely chopped broccoli | | | - stems | | 1/4
| cup | AM Sesame Tahini | | | -OR- Peanut Butter | | 2
| tsp | Cider vinegar | | 1
| tsp | Syrup or honey | | 1/4
| tsp | Sea salt (optional) | | 1
| tbsp | Tamari soy sauce | | 1/2
| tsp | Ginger | | | MIX | | 3
| tbsp | Arrowroot powder | | 1/2
| cup | Cold water |

Procedures:
| 1 | Crust: mix all ingredients together until evenly blended. | | 2 | Pat into deep 10" pie plate. | | 3 | Bake at 400°F. for 15 minutes. | | 4 | filling: preheat large skillet on medium heat. | | 5 | Add oil, onion and garlic; saute 1 minute. | | 6 | Add chopped vegetables; saute until almost tender, about 10 minutes. | | 7 | Add seasonings (last six ingredients). | | 8 | Stir. | | 9 | mix arrowroot or cornstarch in cold water. | | 10 | Stir into 1-?cups more cold water or orange juice. | | 11 | Pour over vegetables. | | 12 | Lower heat. | | 13 | Stir and simmer until slightly thickened. | | 14 | Pour all over crust. | | 15 | Sprinkle with ?cup chopped nuts. | | 16 | Bake at 375°F. for 45 minutes or until set. | | 17 | other vegetables may be substituted for those above, such as mushrooms, cauliflower, purple cabbage, celery, etc. |
