Tex-mex beans

Ingredients:
3/4 cupWater
1 tbspGarlic clove minced
15 ozKidney beans canned
4 ozCanned chilies
1/4 tspSalt
1 cupOnion chopped
15 ozGarbanzo canned
16 ozTomato Sauce, canned
2 tspChili powder
1 1/2 tbspCornstarch
Procedures:
1In a 10 inch fry pan combine the water, onion and garlic.
2Bring to a boil; reduce heat to simmer cover and cook for 5 minutes until onions are tender.
3Stir in the beans, tomato sauce, green chili peppers, chili powder and salt.
4Cover and simmer for about 10 minutes to heat all ingredients.
5In a separate bowl combine cornstarch with 1 tbs of water to smooth paste.
6Stir into the fry pan while stirring to thicken sauce.
