Ingredients:
2 tbspPeanut oil
2 tbspSoy sauce
2 tbspDry sherry
2 tbspWater
2 tspCornstarch
1/2 tspSugar
2 Garlic cloves, crushed
12 ozSirloin steak, thin sliced
1 Sweet red pepper, thin strips
1 Sweet yellow pepper, thin str
1 Onion, large, ½d & cut/strip
1/4 lbsMushrooms, halved/quartered
Procedures:
1Combine 1 tablespoon oil, soy sauce, sherry, water, cornstarch, sugar and garlic in a shallow nonmetal dish.
2Add the steak strips.?Heat remaining tablespoon oil in wok or nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
3Add peppers, onion, mushrooms; stir-fry 3-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
4Remove and reserve.?Add undrained steak to wok; stir-fry 2 minutes until no longer pink.
5Return vegetables to wok; stir-fry to heat through.
6Serve over rice.
