Easy white sauce coq a v

Ingredients:
1 lbsChicken (Preferably boneless
Breast)
1 smallCan of sliced mushrooms
1 canCream of mushroom soup
1/4 tspGranulated garlic
1/4 tspSalt
1/4 tspPepper
1/4 tspRosemary
1/4 tspThyme
1/2 cupWhite wine (Chablis is best)
1/4 cupBUTTER (margarine is an okay
Substitute, but it will be
Much better with real
Butter).
Procedures:
1Dice chicken, sear lightly in hot ungreased skillet, sprinkle with herbs, garlic, slat and pepper.
2Add wine, and butter.
3Add mushrooms, liquid should almost cause chicken to appear to be boiling, reduce heat to simmer, let simmer for one hour, stirring occasionally, if liquid has evaporated too much, add a little wine or water, (wine is best).
4Drain chicken, place back in skillet, add about one ounce of wine, and cream of mushroom soup mix well, let cook on low heat for another ?hour stirring occasionally.
5If chicken is not tender enough to suit you, let cook another ?hour, or until tender enough to your desires..
6serve over a bed of lightly buttered parsley egg noodles...
7Garlic bread also goes well with this dish.
