| | Chicken breasts | | 1/2
| lbs | Italian sausage - hot | | 3
| med | Carrots, sliced | | 1
| med | Onion, sliced | | 1
| | Garlic clove, minced | | 1/2
| cup | Dry red wine | | 1
| | Bay leaf | | 1
| tsp | Thyme - dried | | 1/4
| tsp | Pepper | | 14
| oz | Beans with pork in tomato | | | Parsley, chopped |

Procedures:
| 1 | Preparation time = 30 minutes chicken breasts should be skinned and de-boned. | | 2 | Red wine may be replaced by ?cup chicken broth with 1 tb red wine vinegar. | | 3 | Beans are available under hienz brand as well as many others ~ use your regular selection. | | 4 | In a large frying pan, heat the oil over medium-high heat. | | 5 | Brown the chicken and sausage. | | 6 | Add carrots, onion and garlic; saut?for 2 minutes. | | 7 | Drain off the fat. | | 8 | Stir in the wine, bay leaf, thyme and pepper. | | 9 | Cover and simmer over low heat for about 15 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink. | | 10 | Stir in the beans and heat through. | | 11 | Sprinkle parsley on top. |
