Ingredients:
| 3/4
| cup | Corn meal | | 1
| cup | Whole wheat flour | | 4
| tbsp | Baking powder | | 3/4
| tbsp | Salt | | 1/4
| cup | Honey (or use molasses - | | | It's good too!) | | 2
| tbsp | Applesauce | | 3/4
| cup | Soy milk, milk or water | | 1
| | Egg (or ?cup egg | | | Substitute) beaten | | 1/2

Procedures:
| 1 | Sift together corn meal, flour, baking powder and salt. | | 2 | Add remaining ingredients; mix well with a spoon. | | 3 | Pour into a 9" round teflon baking dish (or spray a 9" round glass baking dish with "oil & flour" non-stick spray). | | 4 | Bake at 350 °F for 25 minutes, or until golden brown. | | 5 | * comment from rob ryerson: he had to add ?c water in order to achieve the consistency of a batter |
