Glazed vegetables

Ingredients:
2 cupPeeled and cubed turnips
2 cupPeeled and cubed rutabagas
2 cupPeeled and cubed sweet
Potatoes OR yams
2 cupPeeled and cubed winter
Squash
3 tbspCider vinegar
3 tbspDark corn syrup
1 tbspButter or margarine, melted
1/3 cupPacked brown sugar
1/2 tbspSalt
1 tbspGround ginger
1/4 cupChopped walnuts, toasted
Procedures:
1Place vegetables in a large pot, cover with water, and cook about 20 minutes, or until tender.
2Drain well.
3Place in a 7x11-inch baking dish.
4In a small bowl, combine vinegar, syrup, butter, brown sugar, salt and ginger.
5Pour over vegetables, and toss to coat.
6Bake in a preheated 400 degree oven for 20 minutes...basting occasionally.
7Stir, sprinkle with chopped nuts, and serve
