Ingredients:

| cup | Flour | | 1
| x | Salt and pepper | | 1
| tbsp | Butter | | 1
| tbsp | Cooking oil | | 1 1/2
| cup | Orange juice | | 2
| tbsp | Vinegar | | 2
| tbsp | Brown sugar | | 1
| tbsp | Basil | | 1/2
| tbsp | Nutmeg | | 1
| can | 16 oz peach halves, drained | | 1
| x | (or apricot halves) |

Procedures:
| 1 | Shake chicken pieces in bag with flour, salt and pepper; brown in butter and oil. | | 2 | Place browned chicken in 3-qt. | | 3 | Casserole dish. | | 4 | Combine orange juice with vinegar, sugar, basil, and nutmeg, and pour mixture over chicken. | | 5 | Cover and bake at 375°F for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until tender. | | 6 | Baste often. | | 7 | Then place peach or apricot halves between chicken pieces, baste well, and bake uncovered for 15 minutes longer. | | 8 | Serve over white rice. |
