Peachy chicken (or non-peachy chicken)

Ingredients:
3 ea Chicken breasts, split
1/2 cupFlour
1 xSalt and pepper
1 tbspButter
1 tbspCooking oil
1 1/2 cupOrange juice
2 tbspVinegar
2 tbspBrown sugar
1 tbspBasil
1/2 tbspNutmeg
1 can16 oz peach halves, drained
1 x(or apricot halves)
Procedures:
1Shake chicken pieces in bag with flour, salt and pepper; brown in butter and oil.
2Place browned chicken in 3-qt.
3Casserole dish.
4Combine orange juice with vinegar, sugar, basil, and nutmeg, and pour mixture over chicken.
5Cover and bake at 375°F for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until tender.
6Baste often.
7Then place peach or apricot halves between chicken pieces, baste well, and bake uncovered for 15 minutes longer.
8Serve over white rice.
