4 Carrots
2 tspSugar
1 tspSalt
1/3 cupChinese pickles
1/4 cupWater
2 tspCornstarch mixed with ?/td>

Procedures:
1Preparation:
2cut chicken into bite-sized pieces.
3Peel carrots and cut into cubes.
4Crush garlic.
5cooking:
6place oil and garlic in skillet.
7Brown chicken, stir 5 minutes, cover, reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes.
8Add plum sauce celery, ginger, sherry, carrots, sugar salt, pickles and water.
9Simmer covered for 12 minutes.
10Add cornstarch-water mixture to thicken gravy.
