Ingredients:

| slice | Bacon, cut small pieces | | 1
| large | Onion, chopped (1 cup) | | 1
| can | Chicken broth, (13 ?ozs) | | 4
| cup | Corn, fresh kernels-6 ears | | 1
| pint | Half and half | | 3/4
| tsp | Salt | | 1/2
| tsp | White pepper | | 2
| tbsp | Parsley, chopped |

Procedures:
| 1 | Saute bacon in large saucepan until crisp. | | 2 | Remove bacon with slotted spoon to paper toweling to drain; reserve. | | 3 | Add onion to saucepan; saute, stirring often, until softened, about 5 minutes. | | 4 | Meanwhile, pare potatoes. | | 5 | Cut into ?inch cubes. | | 6 | Add to onion along with chicken broth. | | 7 | Bring to boiling. | | 8 | Lower heat; cover and simmer 15 minutes. | | 9 | Add corn. | | 10 | Cook 5 more minutes or until potatoes and corn are tender. | | 11 | Stir in half-and-half, salt and pepper. | | 12 | Gently heat to serving temperature. | | 13 | Ladle chowder into soup plates. | | 14 | Sprinkle with bacon and parsley. |
