Ingredients:

| cup | Thinly sliced onions | | 2
| | Cloves of garlic, minced | | 1/2
| lbs | Raw shrimp, shelled | | | -deveined, and diced | | 2
| cup | Bottled clam juice | | 2
| cup | Water | | 1/2
| tsp | Freshly ground black pepper | | 1 1/2
| cup | Chopped, cooked | | | -or canned corn | | 1/2
| cup | Shredded watercress | | | -or spinach |

Procedures:
| 1 | Saute the onions and garlic in the oil for five minutes. | | 2 | Add the shrimp and saute for two minutes. | | 3 | Stir in the clam juice, water, pepper, and corn. | | 4 | Bring to a boil and cook over low heat for 10 minutes. | | 5 | Add the cress and cook two minutes. | | 6 | Taste to adjust seasonings and serve. |
