Smoked sausage and bean soup

Ingredients:
8 ozCooked smoked sausage
1 medOnion finely chopped
1 tspGarlic, minced
2 cupChicken or beef broth
2 medPotatoes, diced
1 canGreat Northern beans 15 oz.
1 canSpicy red chilli beans 15 oz
1 cupFrozen mixed veggies
2 cupCabbage finely shredded
Procedures:
1In 4 quart dutch oven, saute onion and garlic, stir constantly since your using no oil.
2Add sliced smoked sausage.
3Lightly brown.
4Add chicken or beef broth, and all other ingredients, except cabbage.
5Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer ?hour.
6Add finely shredded cabbage, and cook additional 20 minutes.
7Serve with warm bread.
