Ingredients:
3 lbsCoarse ground chili meat
1 tbspOnion salt
2 tbspGarlic powder
3 tbspChili powder
2 tbspGround Cumin
3 tbspTabasco sauce
15 ozCan Tomato Sauce
15 ozWater
OPTIONAL - -
15 ozCan Whole Tomatoes, drained
1/2 tbspCornstarch
Procedures:
1Brown chili meat, then pour off fat/grease.
2Run hot water over meat to remove additional grease.
3(using a strainer or seive helps) add remaining ingredients.
4Bring to boil, stirring.
5Reduce heat and simmer 1 ?hours covered.
6If whole tomatoes were added, chop as they cook.
7Add the cornstarch during the last ?hour to thicken the liquid if needed.
8Serve with saltine crackers.
