Ingredients:
1/2 cupShortening
2 Eggs
1 cupPecans
1 tspVanilla
1 tspBaking powder
1 cupSugar
2 cupDates, chopped
1/2 cupCandied cherries, cut-up
2/3 cupFlour
Powdered Sugar
Procedures:
1Blend shortening and sugar and beat in eggs.
2Stir in remaining ingredients.
3Spread mixture in a 9" pan and bake at 350?for 40-45 minutes.
4Cut into squares while warm and roll in confectionary sugar.
