Procedures:
| 1 | *self-rising flour can be used in this recipe. | | 2 | Mix sugar, margarine and egg. | | 3 | Stir in flour and pecans. | | 4 | Shape into roll 12 inches long. | | 5 | Wrap and refrigerate at least 4 hours or until firm.heat oven to 350 degrees. | | 6 | Cut roll into ?inch slices. | | 7 | Place about 1-inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet. | | 8 | Bake about 15 minutes or until light golden brown; cool. | | 9 | Put ?teaspoon jam between 2 cookies to form sandwich. | | 10 | Heat chocolate chips and shortening over low heat until melted. | | 11 | Dip about half of each cookie sandwich into chocolate mixture. | | 12 | About 2 dozen cookies; 210 calories per cookie |
