Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbsLean Ground Beef
1 cupRegular Rice, Uncooked
2 tspChicken Bouillon, Instant
1/2 tspSalt
1/4 tspCinnamon
3 tbspPeanut Butter, Chunky
1 Onion, Sliced, Md
2 1/2 cupWater
1 tspCurry Powder
1/4 tspGinger
1/2 cupRaisins
1 tbspHoney
Procedures:
1Cook and stir the meat and onion in a large skillet until the onion is tender and the meat is brown.
2Drain off the excess fat.
3Stir in the remaining ingredients.
4To cook in a skillet: heat the mixture to boiling, then reduce the heat and simmer, covered, stirring occasionally, until the rice is tender, about 35 minutes.
5(a small amount of water can be added if necessary).
6To cook in the oven: turn the mixture into an ungreased 2-quart casserole.
7Cover and bake at 350 °F., stirring occasionally, until the rice is tender, about 50 to 60 minutes.
