Ingredients:
| 3
| tbsp | Flour | | 1/4
| tsp | Garlic powder | | 1
| lbs | Pork cut in 1" chunks | | 3
| | Stalks celery chopped | | 1
| | Medium onion chopped | | 1/2
| tsp | Ground cumin | | 1/4
| cup | Brandy | | 1 1/2
| cup | Pitted prunes, halved | | 1/2
| tsp | Paprika | | 1/4
| tsp | Pepper | | 2
| tbsp | Oil | | 2
| | Carrots cut in ? pieces | | 1/4
| cup | Chopped fresh parsley | | 1/4
| tsp | Ground allspice | | 2
| cup | Chicken broth | | 1
| cup | Dried apricot halves |

Procedures:
| 1 | In a plastic bag combine the flour, ?tsp of the salt, paprika, garlic powder, and 1/8 tsp of the pepper. | | 2 | Add a few pieces of the meat, and shake in the flour until coated. | | 3 | Repeat with the remaining meat; set aside. | | 4 | in a heavy saucepan, heat oil over medium high heat. | | 5 | Add meat several pieces at a time and brown. | | 6 | Remove and set aside. | | 7 | Reduce heat to medium low and stir in celery, carrots, onion, parsley, cumin and allspice. | | 8 | Cook stirring, 5 minutes. | | 9 | Stir in brandy and cook 2 minutes. | | 10 | Add broth, pork, remaining ?tsp of the salt and 1/8 tsp of the pepper. | | 11 | Bring to a boil. | | 12 | Cover and simmer 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. | | 13 | Add prunes and apri- cots, and cook 10 minutes or until fruits are tender. | | 14 | Serve over noodles. | | 15 | this is from one of my mil"s clippings from women"s day. | | 16 | Date unknown |
