Ingredients:

| oz | Lentils, Cooked | | 1/4
| pint | Canned Chopped Tomatoes or | | | -tomato juice | | | Ds Tabasco Sauce | | 1
| large | Clove of Garlic Crushed | | | Salt and Pepper | | 1/2
| | Red Pepper, Deseeded, sliced | | 1/2
| | Green Pepper, Deseeded | | | -Sliced | | 6
| oz | Button Mushrooms, Halved | | 7
| fl oz | Cheese Sauce | | 1
| tbsp | Grated Cheese | | 1
| tbsp | Dry Breadcrumbs |

Procedures:
| 1 | Fry the onion briefly in the oil until transluscent. | | 2 | add the lentils, stock, tomato juice or canned tomatoes, tabasco, garlic and seasoning. | | 3 | Bring to the boil and simmer for 10 minutes. | | 4 | set oven to 190c, 375°F, gas 5 | | 5 | stir the peppers and mushrooms into the lentil mixture. | | 6 | Spoon into an ovenproof dish. | | 7 | top with the sauce, cheese and breadcrumbs. | | 8 | Bake for 30 minutes until golden. |
