Ham and cheese potatoes au gratin

Ingredients:
2 cupSliced peeled potatoes
-cooked
1 cupDiced cooked ham
1 tbspMinced onion
1/3 cupButter or margarine
3 tbspAll-purpose flour
1 1/2 cupMilk
1 cupShredded cheddar cheese (4
-oz.)
3/4 tspSalt
1 dashWhite pepper
Chopped fresh parsley
Procedures:
1Combine potatoes, ham and onion in a greased 1-qt casserole; set aside.
2In a saucepan, melt butter or medium heat; stir in flour until smooth.
3Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and bubbles.
4Add cheese, salt and pepper; stir until the cheese melts.
5Pour over potato mixture and stir gently to mix.
6Bake at 350 °F for 35-40 minutes or until bubbly.
7Garnish with parsley.
8Yield 2 servings.
