Ingredients:

| cup | Butter or margarine | | 3
| tbsp | All-purpose flour | | 1 1/2
| cup | Milk | | 1

| dash | White pepper | | | Chopped fresh parsley |

Procedures:
| 1 | Combine potatoes, ham and onion in a greased 1-qt casserole; set aside. | | 2 | In a saucepan, melt butter or medium heat; stir in flour until smooth. | | 3 | Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and bubbles. | | 4 | Add cheese, salt and pepper; stir until the cheese melts. | | 5 | Pour over potato mixture and stir gently to mix. | | 6 | Bake at 350 °F for 35-40 minutes or until bubbly. | | 7 | Garnish with parsley. | | 8 | Yield 2 servings. |
