Ingredients:

| each | Medium green peppers | | 1/3
| cup | Chopped onions | | 1
| lbs | Can stewed tomatoes | | 2
| tbsp | Worcester shire sauce | | 1
| cup | Shredded sharp American Ch | | 1
| lbs | Ground steak | | 1
| tbsp | Fat | | 3/4
| cup | Packaged precooked rice | | 1
| x | Salt & pepper to taste |

Procedures:
| 1 | Cut off tops of green peppers; remove seeds and membrane. | | 2 | Precook green-peppers in boiling salted water about 5 min. drain. | | 3 | Sprinkle inside with salt. | | 4 | Brown meat and onion in hot fat; add tomatoes, rice, worcester shire, and salt and pepper to taste. | | 5 | Cover and simmer till rice is almost tender, about 5 min. add cheese. | | 6 | Stuff peppers; stand upright in 10 x 6 inch baking dish. | | 7 | Bake uncovered in moderate oven 350 deg. | | 8 | 25 min. or till hot. | | 9 | Sprinkle tops with additional shredded cheese. | | 10 | Makes 6 servings. |
