Gr round stuffed peppers

Ingredients:
6 eachMedium green peppers
1/3 cupChopped onions
1 lbsCan stewed tomatoes
2 tbspWorcester shire sauce
1 cupShredded sharp American Ch
1 lbsGround steak
1 tbspFat
3/4 cupPackaged precooked rice
1 xSalt & pepper to taste
Procedures:
1Cut off tops of green peppers; remove seeds and membrane.
2Precook green-peppers in boiling salted water about 5 min. drain.
3Sprinkle inside with salt.
4Brown meat and onion in hot fat; add tomatoes, rice, worcester shire, and salt and pepper to taste.
5Cover and simmer till rice is almost tender, about 5 min. add cheese.
6Stuff peppers; stand upright in 10 x 6 inch baking dish.
7Bake uncovered in moderate oven 350 deg.
825 min. or till hot.
9Sprinkle tops with additional shredded cheese.
10Makes 6 servings.
