Ingredients:
9 ozHershey's Kisses
- (Milk Chocolates)
1/2 cupShortening
3/4 cupReese's Peanut Butter
- Creamy or Crunchy
1/3 cupGranulated sugar
1/3 cupPacked light brown sugar
1 Egg
2 tbspMilk
1 tspVanilla extract
1 1/2 cupAll-purpose flour
1 tspBaking soda
1/2 tspSalt
Granulated sugar
Procedures:
1Heat oven to 375 °Fahrenheit.
2Remove wrappers from chocolate pieces.
3In large mixer bowl, beat shortening and peanut butter until well blended.
4Add 1/3 cup granulated sugar and brown sugar; beat until light and fluffy.
5Add egg, milk and vanilla; beat well.
6Stir together flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to peanut butter mixture.
7Shape dough into 1-inch balls.
8Roll in granulated sugar; place on ungreased cookie sheet.
9Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
10Immediately place chocolate piece on top of each cookie, pressing down so cookie cracks around edges.
11Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.
12Cool completely.
