| 1 | Heat oven to 375 degrees beat together sugars and shortening until light and fluffy. |
| 2 | Blend in eggs and vanilla. |
| 3 | Add combined flour, soda and salt. |
| 4 | Mix well. |
| 5 | Stir in ?cup candies. |
| 6 | Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. |
| 7 | Press 2 or 3 additional candies into each cookie. |
| 8 | Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. |
| 9 | Makes 6 dozen 2 ?inch cookies. |
