Ingredients:

| cup | Butter, softened | | 3/4
| cup | Sugar | | 1/4
| tsp | Salt | | 2
| cup | Flour | | 1 1/3
| cup | Pecans, toasted, chopped | | 12
| oz | Cream cheese, softened | | 2
| | Eggs | | 1
| tsp | Vanilla | | 1 1/2
| cup | Orange marmalade |

Procedures:
| 1 | Description: these make a great finale for brunch---a nutty shortbread crust topped with orange marmalade and cream cheese. | | 2 | preheat oven to 350. | | 3 | Butter a 9x13 pan. | | 4 | Beat together butter, sugar and salt until light and fluffy. | | 5 | Add flour ?cup at a time and mix until well blended. | | 6 | Stir in 1 c of the nuts (mixture will be crumbly). | | 7 | Place 1 c of mixture in small bowl and add remaining 1/3 c nuts. | | 8 | Set aside for topping. | | 9 | Press remaining mixture over bottom of buttered pan. | | 10 | Bake 15 minutes. | | 11 | Cool. | | 12 | Beat cream cheese in large mixing bowl until smooth. | | 13 | Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. | | 14 | Stir in vanilla and ?c of the marmalade. | | 15 | Spread cooled cookie base with remaining ?c marmalade. | | 16 | Pour cream cheese mixture over top, spreading evenly. | | 17 | Top with reserved nut mixture. | | 18 | Bake 20-25 minutes or until center looks set. | | 19 | Cool to room temp in pan on rack. | | 20 | Cover and refrigerate 3 hours. | | 21 | Cut into 24 squares. | | 22 | Refrigerate airtight up to 5 days |
