Ingredients:
3/4 cupLard
3/4 cupSugar
3/4 cupMild molasses
3/4 cupSour cream
4 1/2 cupSifted all-purpose flour
2 tspBaking soda
2 tspCinnamon
1 1/2 tspSalt
1 tspGinger
Procedures:
1Cream lard and sugar together.
2Add molasses and cream, then the eggs.
3Stir in the sifted dry ingredients.
4Dough will be soft.
5Chill in refrigerator overnight.
6Use half of dough at a time.
7Roll out lightly, ?inch thick on a floured cloth.
8Cut rounds of 2 ?to 3 inches.
9Place on greased cookie sheets and bake 15 to 20 minutes.
