Ingredients:

| | T-bone steaks, 1" thick or | | | - Porterhouse | | 3
| tbsp | Olive oil | | 1
| tsp | Basil, dried | | 1/2
| tsp | Garlic powder | | 8
| oz | French bread, loaf | | 6
| slice | Tomato, ? thick | | 2
| tbsp | Parmesean cheese, grated |

Procedures:
| 1 | Preparation time: 25 minutes combine oil, basil and garlic powder; reserve. | | 2 | Place beef steaks on grid over medium coals. | | 3 | Grill steaks 10 to 14 minutes for rare (140 °F) to medium (160 °F)., turning once. | | 4 | Season with salt and pepper, if desired. | | 5 | Meanwhile cut bread in half lengthwise, and brush with 1 ?tablespoons of the basil mixture, evenly on cut side of bread. | | 6 | Brush remaining basil mixture on one side of each tomato slice. | | 7 | About five minutes before steaks are done, place bread, cut side down and tomatoes, on grid with steaks; grill 2 to 3 minutes or until bread is golden brown and tomatoes are just heated through. | | 8 | Cut bread diagonally into slices, so some of the seasoning is on each slice. | | 9 | Carve steaks into thick slices. | | 10 | Serve with bread and tomato slices. |
