Oatmeal maple syrup drop cookies

Ingredients:
1/2 cupShortening
1 cupMaple Syrup
1 Egg, beaten
1 1/2 cupFlour
1 tspSalt
2 tspBaking Powder
1/4 cupMilk
1/2 cupSeedless Raisins
1 1/2 cupOatmeal
1/2 cupNutmeats
Procedures:
1Beat shortening, syrup and egg.
2Sift dry ingredients together and add to the shortening mixture alternately with the milk, mix well.
3Add raisins, oatmeal and nuts.
4Drop by spoon on a greased cookie sheet, leaving space between them.
5Bake in a preheated 375°F oven for 15 minutes
