| 2 | Use enough to make about 1 cup mashed. |
| 3 | cream the margarine and brown sugar until light and fluffy. |
| 4 | Add the beaten egg, salt, bananas, vanilla and peanut butter. |
| 5 | Beat until very well mixed. |
| 6 | Stir in the oats and blend thoroughly. |
| 7 | Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. |
| 8 | Spread the mixture evenly in pan. |
| 9 | Bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. |
| 10 | Cool slightly, then cut into bars of about 1 x 2 inches. |
| 11 | yield: about 4 dozen bars. |
