Nearly brownie cookies

Ingredients:
8 ozSemisweet chocolate
3 tbspButter
1/4 cupAll-purpose flour
1/4 tspBaking powder
1/8 tspSalt
2 Eggs
3/4 cupSugar
1/2 tspVanilla
1 cupSemisweet chocolate morsels
2 1/4 cupPecans, chopped roughly
Procedures:
1Preheat oven to 350°F.
2Melt the semisweet chocolate and the butter over low heat or in the microwave.
3Stir until smooth.
4Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt.
5Beat eggs, sugar and vanilla at high speed until well combined.
6Slowly beat in the cooled chocolate, then the dry ingredients until just blended but smooth.
7Stir in the chocolate morsels and the nuts.
8Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls 1 inch apart on cookie sheets lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
9Bake 10-to-12 minutes.
10Do not over bake.
11Cool on a rack.
12May be made ahead or frozen.
