Ingredients:
5 tbspCocoa
1/2 cupButter
1/4 cupWhite sugar
1 Egg
1/2 tspVanilla
2 cupGraham wafer crumbs
FILLING:
1 1/4 cupIcing sugar
1/2 cupButter
3 tbspCustard (Birds)
Milk
ICING:
3 Squares semi-sweet chocolate
2 tbspButter
2 dropVanilla
Procedures:
1In a large saucepan melt the butter and stir in the cocoa and sugar.
2Add 1 beaten egg with the vanilla to the melted butter.
3Add the 2 cups of "graham" wafers and mix well.
4Press this mixture into the bottom of a lightly greased 9*9 inch pan.
5Place in the refrigerator.
6Filling: beat together icing sugar, butter, and custard.
7Add a little milk if needed to make a smooth dough.
8Spread on first layer and return to the refrigerator.
9Topping: melt chocolate, butter and vanilla in a saucepan.
10Work quickly to get a smooth even layer.
11Return to the refrigerator to set.
12Cut into bars.
13Refrigerate.
