Mrs. fields lemon poppy seed cookies

Ingredients:
2 cupAll-purpose flour
1/2 tspBaking powder
1 1/2 tspFreshly grated lemon zest
1 tspGround corriander
2 tbspPoppy Seeds
1/4 cupSalted butter, softened
1 cupWhite sugar
2 largeEgg yolks
1 largeWhole egg
1 1/2 tspPure lemon extract
Procedures:
1Preheat oven to 300°F.
2in a medium bowl combine flour, baking soda, lemon zest coriander and poppyseeds.
3Mix well with a wire whisk and set aside.
4in a large bowl cream butter and sugar with electric mixer at medium speed until mixture forms a grainy paste.
5Scrape down sidw of bowl, then add yolks, egg and lemon extract.
6Beat at medium speed until light and fluffy.
7add the flour mixture and mix at low speed just until combined.
8Do not overmix.
9drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheets, 2 inches apart.
10Bake for 23-25* minutes until cookies are slightly brown along edges.
11Immediately transfer cookies with a spatula to a cool surface.
12yield: 2 dozen.
