Mrs. field's eggnog cookies

Ingredients:
2 1/2 cupFlour, all purpose
1 tspBaking powder
1/2 tspCinnamon, ground
1/2 tspNutmeg, ground
1 1/4 cupSugar, white
3/4 cupButter, salted, softened
1/2 cupEggnog
1 tspVanilla extract
2 largeEgg yolks
1 tbspNutmeg, ground
Procedures:
1Preheat oven to 300°F.
2In a medium bowl combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon and nutmeg.
3Mix well with a wire whisk and set aside.
4In a large bowl cream sugar and butter with an electric mixer to form a grainy paste.
5Add eggnog, vanilla and egg yolks and beat at medium speed until smooth.
6Add the flour mixture and beat at low speed just until combined.
7Do not overmix.
8Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased baking sheets, 1 inch apart.
9Sprinkle lightly with nutmeg.
10Bake for 23-25 minutes or until bottoms turn light brown.
11Transfer to cool, flat surface immediately with spatula.
