Ingredients:

| cup | Flour | | 1/2
| tsp | Baking powder | | 1/3
| cup | Light brown sugar, packed | | 1
| cup | Sugar | | 1
| cup | Butter, softened | | 2
| large | Eggs | | 2
| tsp | Vanilla | | 2
| cup | Raisins | | 2
| cup | Semisweet chocolate chips |

Procedures:
| 1 | Preheat oven to 300°F. | | 2 | In a medium bowl combine flour and baking powder. | | 3 | Mix well with wire whisk and set aside. | | 4 | Blend sugars in a large bowl using an electric mixer at medium speed. | | 5 | Add butter and mix until grainy, scraping down the sides of the bowl. | | 6 | Add eggs and vanilla and mix at medium speed until smooth. | | 7 | Add the flour mixture, raisins and chocolate chips. | | 8 | Blend at low speed until just combined. | | 9 | Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets, 1 ?inches apart. | | 10 | Bake 22-24 minutes. | | 11 | Transfer cookies immediately to a cool, flat surface. |
