Ingredients:

| cup | Butter | | 1
| cup | Brown sugar | | 1
| cup | Sugar | | 2
| | Eggs | | 1
| tbsp | Vanilla | | 2
| cup | Flour | | 2 1/2
| cup | Oatmeal * | | 1/2
| tbsp | Salt | | 1
| tbsp | Baking soda | | 1
| tbsp | Baking powder | | 12
| oz | Chocolate chips | | 8
| oz | Hershey bar, grated | | 1 1/2
| cup | Nuts, pecans or walnuts |

Procedures:
| 1 | Cream together butter and the 2 sugars. | | 2 | Add the 4 eggs and vanilla. | | 3 | Mix together flour, oatmeal*, salt baking sada and baking powder. | | 4 | Mix all ingredients together and add chocolate chips, hershey bar and chopped nuts. | | 5 | Bake on ungreased cookie sheets (cushion aire-insulated the best so the cookies don"t burn). | | 6 | Make golf-ball size cookies, spaced 2" apart. | | 7 | Bake at 375°F for 6 minutes. | | 8 | Makes 112 cookies. | | 9 | * oatmeal: put small amounts of oatmeal into blender on high until it turns to powder. | | 10 | Measure first, then blend. |
