Mrs. fields carrot fruit jumbles

Ingredients:
2 1/2 cupAll-purpose flour
1 tspBaking soda
1/2 tspBaking powder
1/2 tspGround cloves
2 tspGround cinnamon
1/4 tspSalt
1 cupQuick oats (not instant)
3/4 cupDark brown sugar, packed
3/4 cupWhite sugar
1 cupSalted butter, softened
2 largeEggs
2 tspPure vanilla extract
2 cupGrated carrot (2 or 3
- medium carrots
1/2 cupCrushed Pineapple, drained
1 cup(4-oz.) chopped walnuts
Procedures:
1Preheat to 350°F.
2in a medium bowl combine flour, soda, baking powder, cloves, cinnamon, salt and oats.
3Mix well with a wire whish and set aside.
4in a large bowl with an electric mixer, blend sugars.
5Add butter and mix to form a grainy paste.
6Scrape down sides of bowl.
7add eggs and vanilla, and beat at medium speed until light and fluffy.
8Add carrots, pineapple and nuts, and blend until combined.
9Butter will appear lumpy.
10add flour mixture and blend at low speed until just combined.
11Do not overmix.
12drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased baking sheets, 1-?inches apart.
13Bake 13-15 minutes, taking care not to brown cookies.
14Immediately transfer cookies with a spatual to a cool, flat surface.
