Mother's mince meat bars (christmas)

Ingredients:
CRUST & TOPPING
2 cupFlour
1 tspSalt
1/2 cupPecans, chopped
2 1/2 cupQuick oats, uncooked
1 1/2 cupBrown sugar, packed
1 cupMargarine, melted
FILLING
1 1/2 cupPrepared mincemeat
1/4 cupSugar
1 tbspCorn starch
1 tbspLemon juice
Procedures:
1Oven 350°F.
2crust & topping: grease a 7x11x2 inch baking pan.
3Combine above ingredients and mix well.
4Press half of mixture into pan.
5filling: simmer above ingredients until thick.
6Cool.
7Spread over dough in pan, and cover with remaining dough.
8Pat down well.
9Bake at 350°F for 25-35 minutes.
10Cool in pan.
11Cut in squares.
12Store in tin box between layers of wax paper.
