| 1 | Preheat oven to 350. |
| 2 | Cream butter. |
| 3 | Add both sugars and beat well. |
| 4 | Add egg and mix well. |
| 5 | Add flour, coffee powder, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, vanilla, and ?c walnuts. |
| 6 | Mix well. |
| 7 | Wrap dough in wax paper and chill thoroughly in refrigerator (at least two hours). |
| 8 | Remove dough from refrigerator. |
| 9 | Using rounded teaspoonfuls of dough, shape into balls using palms of hands and place 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. |
| 10 | Bake 12-15 minutes. |
| 11 | Remove cookie sheet from oven and working quickly place 3-4 chocolate chips in the center of each hot cookie. |
| 12 | When chocolate has softened, spread over top and sprinkle with balance of walnuts. |
| 13 | Remove to wire rack and cool |
