Ingredients:
1 cupBUTTER
3/4 cupCONFECTIONERS SUGAR
1 tbspVANILLA
2 1/2 cupFLOUR
1 cupWALNUT PIECES
Procedures:
1Preheat oven to 350 deg f.
2In a large mixing bowl, cream butter, sugar and vanilla until fluffy.
3Add the flour in two additions.
4Beat until well mixed.
5Add the walnuts and beat again.
6Chill dough until easy to handle.
7With lightly floured hands, pinch off small amounts of dough and roll into walnut sized balls.
8Place on ungreased baking sheet.
9Bake for 18 to 20 minutes or until barely brown.
10While still warm, roll balls in confectioners sugar.
11Place on wire rack to cool.
12Makes 2 ?dozen cookies.
