Living large chocolate-chunk cookies

Ingredients:
1/2 lbsUnsalted butter, room
Temperature
1/2 tspSalt
1 tbspVanilla extract
3/4 cupDark brown sugar, packed
1/2 cupGranulated sugar
1 largeEgg
1/2 tspBaking soda
2 cupAll-purpose flour, sifted
1 cupChocolate, chopped
Procedures:
1Recipe by: martha stewart beat butter, salt and vanilla in electric mixer with paddle until fluffy.
2Add sugars; beat until lightened in color, 4 minutes.
3Beat in egg.
4Add baking soda and flour; beat on lowspeed until just incorporated.
5Mix in chocolate.
6Refrigerate dough for 1 hour.
7Heat oven to 400°F.
8Roll ?cup dough into ball.
9Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
10Repreat, placing 4 on each of 2 baking sheets.
11Bake 7 minutes, rotate pans between oven shelves, and bake until just browned around edges, 6 to 8 minutes more.
12Meanwhile, prepare a third baking sheet.
13Cool sheets on wire racks for 2 minutes, then transfer cookies to racks to cool completely.
14Bake third sheet 12 to 14 minutes; repreat cooling process
