Linzer thumbprint snowballs

Ingredients:
2 1/4 cupAll-purpose flour
3/4 cupWalnuts, finely ground
1 tbspGround cinnamon
2 tbspGrated lemon peel
3/4 cupGranulated sugar
3/4 cupMargarine, softened
1 Egg
1 tbspVanilla
About ?cup raspberry jam
Powdered sugar
Procedures:
1Heat oven to 350 degrees.
2Lightly grease cookie sheet.
3Stir together flour, walnuts, cinnamon and lemon peel.
4Beat granulated sugar and margarine in large bowl on medium speed until creamy.
5Beat in egg and vanilla until fluffy.
6Gradually stir in flour mixture.
7Shape dough into 1 inch balls.
8Place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet.
9Press thumb in center of each to make indentation.
10Fill each indentation with ?teaspoon jam.
11Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown around edges.
12Immediately remove from cookie sheet; cool completely.
13Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
