Ingredients:

| cup | Sweet butter | | 1/2
| cup | Sugar | | 1
| tsp | Vanilla | | | 2 ea Egg whites | | 3/4
| cup | Flour, sifted |

Procedures:
| 1 | Cream the butter with sugar. | | 2 | Add vanilla and egg whites, and beat well. | | 3 | Add flour, and mix it in well. | | 4 | Put dough into cookie press and press thru wide round opening to make pencil-shaped cookies. | | 5 | Place them, far apart, on a cold, buttered cookie sheet. | | 6 | Bake in preheated 400°F. oven for 7 to 8 min. watch carefully to prevent their burning. |
