| 1 | Nut kolache filling |
| 2 | with a fork, beat the egg whites until frothy. |
| 3 | Add the beaten egg whites, sugar and melted butter to the ground walnuts and mix well. |
| 4 | Makes approximately 10 dozen. |

| 6 | 8 oz dried appricots 1 ?c water ?c sugar 1 tbs cornstarch |
| 7 | wash apricots. |
| 8 | Combine apricots and water; cook until soft, about ?hour, stirring constantly to keep from scorching. |
| 9 | Stir in sugar and cornstarch and cook for one minute. |
| 10 | Cool. |
| 11 | Use a teaspoonful of filling for each square. |
| 12 | Makes 8 dozen. |

| 14 | ?c apricot preserves ?c coconut ?c chopped pecans or walnuts |
| 15 | mix the above ingredients and refrigerate until ready to use. |
| 16 | poppyseed filling |
| 17 | 2 cups milk, scalded 1 lb ground poppyseeds 1 ?c sugar |
| 18 | mix together filling ingredients. |
| 19 | Set aside until milk is absorbed and mixture is cooled. |
