Ingredients:
12 Eggs separated-save whites
6 cupFlour-not sifted
1/4 cupLemon Rind (very fine)
1 1/2 packPowder Sugar (2 boxes) *
1 lbsButter
1/2 pintSour Cream
3 lbsGrated Nuts *
24 Egg Whites (or more) *
Procedures:
1Make into small balls (tablespoone size), place in refrigerator overnight.
2Roll out to the size of a saucer and fill with filling (*).
3Bake at 350 °F for 10-12 minutes.
4the less handing the flakier the kiflies are.
5I cut my butter into the flour, by rubbing it between by hands.
6Mix or cream egg yolks and lemon rind, together.
7Then add to flour, and mix until all is blended.
8Then make into balls.
