Ingredients:

| cup | Sugar | | 1/2
| tsp | Salt | | 1
| tsp | Vanilla | | 1
| cup | Flour | | 3/4
| cup | Small, spiced Gumdrops | | | Halved, divided | | 3/4
| cup | Walnuts, chopped, divided |

Procedures:
| 1 | Preheat oven to 325°F. | | 2 | In large bowl beat together eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla. | | 3 | Stir in flour. | | 4 | Mix in ?cup of the gumdrops and ?cup of the walnuts. | | 5 | Turn onto greased 9 " square baking pan. | | 6 | Sprinkle with remaining gumdrops and walnuts. | | 7 | Bake for about 35 minutes, or until top has a firm, dull crust. | | 8 | Cool in pan. | | 9 | Cut into 24 bars |
