| 2 | Cut roll of dough in paper wrapper into fifths. |
| 3 | Rewrap 4 pieces in damp towels. |
| 4 | Unroll 1 piece of phyllo; discard paper. |
| 5 | Cut in half crosswise. |
| 6 | Brush 1 piece with melted butter. |
| 7 | Top with second sheet; brush with butter. |
| 8 | Repeat with third sheet. |
| 9 | Fold sheets accordion-style into ?inch folds. |
| 10 | Pinch folds together at one end; spread folds apart at the other end, forming fan. |
| 11 | Place on ungreased baking sheet. |
| 12 | Repeat with remainder of first phyllo portion. |
| 13 | Bake, 6 at a time, in 375 degree oven about 5 minutes or till golden brown. |
| 14 | Remove; cool. |
| 15 | Repeat with remaining phyllo, 1 portion at a time, keeping phyllo wrapped till used. |
| 16 | Melt chocolate over low heat; stir in peel, shortening, and spices. |
| 17 | Dip wide end of each fan about ?inch into chocolate; dip into nuts. |
| 18 | Place on rack to harden chocolate. |
