| 1 | Heat oven to 350°F. |
| 2 | Stir together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. |
| 3 | In large mixer bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar and vanilla until well blended. |
| 4 | Add eggs; beat well. |
| 5 | Gradually add flour mixture, blending well. |
| 6 | Stir in 1 cup candy coated bits. |
| 7 | Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheet. |
| 8 | Press 8 to 9 of remaining bits on dough before baking. |
| 9 | Bake 7 to 9 minutes or until cookie is set. |
| 10 | Do not overbake. |
| 11 | Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. |
| 12 | Cool completely. |
| 13 | About 3-?dozen cookies. |
