Ingredients:
1/2 cupDried banana slices
1/2 cupCoconut
1 cupSugar
1/2 cupLight corn syrup
1 Jar macadamia nuts
. (3 ?oz.)
1 tspMargarine or butter
1 tspVanilla
1 tspBaking soda
Procedures:
1*** microwave directions: butter cookie sheet.
2Sprinkle banana slices and coconut in 12-inch circle on buttered cookie sheet.
3in 1 ?quart microwave-safe casserole or 8-cup measuring cup, combine sugar and corn syrup.
4Microwave on high for 4 minutes.
5Stir in macadamia nuts.
6Microwave on high for 4 to 6 minutes or until golden brown.
7Stir in margarine and vanilla; blend well.
8Microwave on high for i minute.
9Add haking soda and stir gently until light and foamy.
10Quickly pour in thin stream over bananas and coconut on cookie sheet.
11Let cool 30 minutes.
12Break into pieces.
1330 (2-inch) pieces.
