Ingredients:
FILLING
1 cupSemisweet chocolate chips
1 pack(3 oz) cream cheese
1/2 cupCondensed milk
2 tbspCashews, ground
1/2 cupChopped walnuts
1/4 tspAlmond extract
CRUST
1 1/2 cupFlour
1/2 tspBaking powder
1/4 tspSalt
3/4 cupSugar
1/2 cupButter, softened
1 eachEgg
1/4 tspAlmond extract
Procedures:
1Make the filling first.
2In a saucepan, combine chocolate chips, cream cheese and milk.
3Melt over low heat, stirring constantly.
4Remove from heat.
5Stir in nuts and almond extract; blend well.
6Set aside.
7In a large bowl, combine all remaining ingredients.
8Mix well until crumbly.
9Press half the crust mixture into an oiled 7 x 11-inch pan.
10Spread filling over crust.
11Sprinkle rest of crust mixture over filling.
12Bake at 350 °F for 20-25 minutes.
13Makes 18 bars
