Ingredients:
16 xLarge field mushrooms
4 ozChopped onions
4 ozWhole wheat breadcrumbs
4 ozSausage meat
1 tspChopped sage
Salt and pepper
Procedures:
1Wash and peel mushrooms.
2Remove stalks and discard.
3Brush mushrooms with melted butter.
4Fry onions in remaining butter.
5When tender, mix onion and butter with breadcrumbs, sausagemeat, herbs and seasonings.
6Divide among the mushrooms.
7Place mushrooms in a shallow ovenproof dish, pour 4 tablespoons of water into the bottom of the dish, and bake for 15-20 minutes in a moderate oven
