| cup | Applesauce | | 1/3
| cup | Corn syrup | | 1
| tsp | Vanilla extract | | | COCOA ICING | | 1
| cup | Icing sugar | | 1
| tbsp | Cocoa powder | | 1/2
| tsp | Vanilla extract | | 1
| tbsp | Milk, skim suggested |

Procedures:
| 1 | In medium bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, cocoa, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, salt until blended. | | 2 | In separate bowl stir together egg whites, evaporated skim milk, apple sauce, corn syrup, and vanilla. | | 3 | Add dry mixture to wet and stir until just blended. | | 4 | heat oven to 350°F. | | 5 | Spray 8x8x2 baking pan with cooking spray. | | 6 | Bake 30-35 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean. | | 7 | remove from oven and cool. | | 8 | Prepare icing: in a medium bowl blend all icing ingredients. | | 9 | Beat with wire whisk until smooth. | | 10 | Spread on brownies and serve. |
